Soft Delicate Pink
Juicy Wild Strawberries
Pink Grapefruit Delight

Winemakers Notes:

Despite the difficult growing season, the settled weather beyond cyclone Gabrielle gave our Malbec grapes what was required to bring all the lovely flavours our Zaria Malbec Rosé typically exhibits.

Picked and pressed on March 28th, the signature bright pink hue of our Malbec juice gave us solace during such a tricky harvest. A long slow ferment between 12 and 14 degrees helped retain all the fresh fruity aromatics that our rosé is famous for.

A vibrant fresh entry onto the palate beaming with wild strawberries, fresh cherries, and pink grapefruit. The electric entry gives way to a soft flavoursome mid palate. A subtle edge to the finish wills you back for another sip.

Reviews

★★★★★ 94/100
“Pristine and fabulously elegant, the wine shows sweet strawberry, pomegranate, nectarine and subtle spice aromas, leading to a finely flowing palate that's juicy and vibrant. Beautifully balanced and harmonious with a lengthy refreshing finish. At its best: now to 2026.” – Sam Kim Wine Orbit

92/100
“Ripe, fresh fruity and individual, a wine of freshness and fresh berry fruit flavours of cranberry and cherry, some apple and sweet fruit tea flavours. Fine tannins, plenty of acidity and a chalky texture all add up to a bright and delicious wine with super fine tannins and a light saline quality to the acid line. Best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2025.” – Cameron Douglas

★★★★
“Full of youthful impact, the 2023 vintage (4*) is a single-vineyard wine, estate-grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle. Bright, light pink, it is light-bodied, with fresh, strong, strawberry and watermelon flavours, a sliver of sweetness, and appetising acidity. Vigorous and vibrantly fruity, it offers good drinking during 2024.” – Michael Cooper
